ObEN Showcases Personal AI At Shanghai World AI Conference

ObEN is an artificial intelligence (AI) company that creates Personal AI (PAI) technology to transform digital communication. At the 2018 World AI Conference in Shanghai, China the world’s first celebrity PAI made its debut.

By means of its high-tech AI technology, the company formed the Personal AI avatar of Aijia. Interactions between fans are a very crucial component of the entertainment culture. Thus, due to the creation of PAI for celebrities and idols, like SNH48, allows these stars to be more interactive. PAI helps the celebrities to have personalized and extensive interactions with fans away from the customary meet-and-greets plus album signings.

Xiong Wei, the Vice President of SNH48, says,

“SNH48 hopes to expand the virtual idol market through cooperation with ObEN, and strengthen the connection between idols and fans through AI technology, and realize the concept of cultivation and companionship through PAI.”

ObEN Technology

ObEN’s technology is a combo of computer vision, natural language processing plus speech technology. Because of this, the firm creates 3D intelligent avatars that appear, sound, and study to act as the individual. The personal information in creating the PAI, plus any data usage due to the PAI, is safe and authentic on the Project PAI blockchain. For the entertainment industry, this renders a novel way to protect and preserve IP in a business now prevailed by digital assets.

Adam Zheng, COO, and co-founder of ObEN say,

“ObEN’s PAI technology empowers fans to reach across the digital space and actually see and hear their favorite celebrity as if they were having a personal encounter. Aijia’s PAI can now interact with fans, sing to fans, and even have conversations with them – and we see this new type of interaction as a market with great potential.”

At the World AI Conference, Aijia was seen standing next to her PAI counterpart and singing a duet. The singing voice of the PAI is also produced because of ObEN’s AI technology. By means of a small voice data sample, ObEN’s AI can facilitate a PAI to speak in several languages. The PAI can also sing in the user’s own voice.

Pai Blockchain Protocol

Because we are the possessors of our own PAI, we can administer it anywhere online. A blockchain protocol built up for PAI produces a decentralized platform to store PAI. AS a result of this, the interactions with decentralized apps meant for PAI-centric usages in daily life are easy now.
