Wuhan and ePlay Join To Develop Medical Cannabis App

If you use cannabis for medical purposes, the latest business partnership between ePlay and Wuhan will interest you.  Indeed, it’s true. Are you wondering why? Well, here’s why: Wuhan General Group Inc. has signed a partnership agreement with a mobile phone developer and publisher ePlay. A sneak peek into Wuhan General Group Inc. reveals that it is a Nevada-based investment firm with vast interests in many sectors. However, the area that affects this agreement is its interest in blockchain technology.

Details of the Wuhan ePlay Partnership

Basically, the Nevada-based firm will use Mobvovivo’s Augmented Reality platform for a number of applications. They include eCommerce, mobile product information, and education. Actually, all this will be in an effort to support the marketing and sale of cannabis and cannabidiol (CBD) products. Also, this partnership will bubble under the radar following the announcement of Dr. Anna Morera Leralta as the chief medical officer (CMO) at Wuhan. Indeed, a look at her profile shows that Dr. Leralta has an interesting background. Also called Dr. Anna, Dr. Leralta is a leading thinker, extensive researcher, and medical practitioner with focus on medical cannabis and integrative medicine fields.

The Strategy

Called Dr. Anna, the app by Wuhan will enable users of iPhone and Android cameras to get more information about cannabis products. While users are sourcing this information, the app will drive ad revenue, data analytics and sales. The app users will have access to lots of information. Indeed, this includes information on efficacy, safety and effectiveness of cannabinoids in symptom management, pain and other related conditions. What’s more? Patients and customers will also leverage the information on the app to understand the benefits, performance and safety of an increasing number of new products on the market.

Cannabis and the Law

In California, Canada and several other places, the governments demand utilitarian cannabis packaging and some places ban weed ads. Also, via their iPhones and Android smartphones, Wuhan’s Dr. Anna will help users to learn more about the products and where to buy them in real-time. The app will enable customers to get more information about a product upon pointing their camera at product labels, retail ads and even on websites. That’s not all. The app promises to feature an interactive video and AR, which can guarantee the customers reliable, trusted cannabis sources.

According to statistics, expert projections show that the global weed market will hit $146.4B USD in the next seven years. Also, studies show that cannabis can effectively cure some medical conditions such as mental disorders, chronic pain, cancer, and many others.
